David Hamilton founded Scioto Darby Concrete in 1978 and incorporated it in 1982.  He has been a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University.  Prior to starting Scioto Darby Concrete he worked for Dryden Inc. as laborer, form carpenter, and a foreman for the footing and prep crew.  He then worked for R & C Construction and Baker Concrete leading crews and learning the cement mason trade.  Currently he is President and Owner of Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. and has provided twenty-eight years of service to the construction industry.
